Discover Umbra’s range of accessories for contemporary, casual living at Mambo’s
Offering original designs for modern and casual living, Umbra offers a wide range of homeware items.
From decorative objects to kitchen items and bathroom ware, the Canadian-based company has just about everything a homeowner could want or need to style up their space.
It all started in 1979 with a window shade when co-founders Les Mandelbaum and Paul Rowan recognised the need for modern designs that were accessible in both price and attitude.
“Umbra was born out of a passion for original design and the desire to create products for every home,” says the company.
“At Umbra, our team of international designers brings thought and creativity into everyday items. Driven by innovation, we pull inspiration from the global marketplace, in order to push boundaries in our approach to original design.
“We share a vision of creating original, modern and casual design for every room. Curiosity, creativity and a passion for design are common characteristics of Umbra people around the world. We work out of more than 15 different countries, collaborating and pulling the best out of each other and ourselves.”
Today, these designs include everything from the Umbra Squire Paper Towel Holder to the Joey Pump/Scrubby soap dispenser, Udry Drying Mat, Aquala Bathtub Caddy and the Glam Organiser to keep kitchens and bathrooms in style – and organised.
Apart from practical solutions, Umbra also offers homeowners a variety of decorative items, including the Hubba Pebble set of three mirrors in brass or titanium and the Buddy Doorstop and Flip 3 Hook in white or driftwood.
Umbra is locally available at Mambo’s.
