AXOR Unveils Personalised Bathroom Design Innovations at Milan Furniture Fair 2026
At the 2026 Milan Furniture Fair, where global design narratives converge and evolve, AXOR asserts a bold new direction in personalised bathroom design. Within a striking 200-square-meter exhibition space, the Hansgrohe Group’s design brand introduces a trio of innovations that collectively redefine how individuality is expressed in one of the home’s most intimate environments.
Marking the 125th anniversary year of Hansgrohe SE, AXOR’s presence at the fair is both celebratory and forward-looking. The brand unveils a new bathroom collection, an architectural shower object, and expanded customisation possibilities through AXOR Signature—each element reinforcing a singular vision: that the bathroom can be a deeply personal, architecturally refined space.
Central to this presentation is a new bathroom collection by the London-based design studio Barber Osgerby. Showcased from April 21 to 26, the collection reflects a thoughtful distillation of decades of design expertise. Its language is at once contemporary and rooted in tradition, drawing from historical forms and archival silhouettes. Soft, flowing lines meet balanced proportions, while subtle decorative accents introduce a quiet sophistication. The result is a collection that feels both modern and familiar, designed to integrate seamlessly into a diverse range of interiors without imposing itself.
Complementing this is a new architectural shower object developed in collaboration with Milan-based architect and product designer Antonio Citterio. Conceived as a transformative element within the bathroom, the piece reimagines the shower as a space of ritual and calm. It consolidates three essential functions—thermostat control, hand shower, and integrated wall niche—into a single, elegantly resolved component. Recessed discreetly into the wall, the design prioritises clarity and usability while allowing the sensory experience of water to take precedence. Its universal compatibility with all AXOR collections and high degree of customisation further underscore the brand’s commitment to flexibility and cohesion.
Together, these innovations signal a shift toward a more nuanced understanding of luxury—one defined not by excess, but by precision, adaptability, and personal expression. AXOR’s exhibition at Milan does not merely present products; it proposes a philosophy in which the bathroom becomes a curated environment, shaped by the unique visions of architects, designers, and users alike.
In this context, personalisation is no longer an added feature but the foundation of design itself.
AXOR. Form follows perfection.
