Crystallite Stone Bathrooms

Manufacturers of bathtubs, basins and vanities in South Africa, Crystallite Stone Bathrooms’ unique product offering is not only aesthetically pleasing and durable but also environmentally friendly.

Similar to natural stone, each item is made from Crystallite – a material manufactured from a specialised compound of natural minerals, pure polyester polymers and quartz crystal aggregate.

This unique material has a striking ice-white appearance and warm, velvety touch.

Other special advantages of Crystallite include:

The solid-surface resin-based materials have the same consistency throughout and as there are no surface coatings, there’s no chance of delamination, surface cracking or crazing.
Crystallite is chip-resistant. In the event of an accident, for instance, dropping a heavy object onto a product, the damage is simple to repair and can be done on the premises.
It is generally scratch resistant due to the use of unique crystal particles in the manufacturing process. If a scratch does however occur, the damage can be repaired on-site, just like a chip.
Crystallite is non-porous and thus extremely hygienic.
It is stain resistant and has been tested with hair dyes, cigarettes and red wine. If a spill does occur, it takes no more than a quick rub down with a scourer and some dry scouring powder (Vim) to remove the stain.
It is completely recyclable. Old products can easily be restored to their original condition and re-used.
Although slight fading is possible over time if exposed to direct sunlight, the product can be brought back to its original colour with a quick sand down.

A popular choice among designers, Crystallite should also be the choice of the discerning homeowner looking for quality sanware.
