A Calm Retreat in Centurion: A Project by Oakmont Kitchens & Interiors
Soft light spills across pale stone tiles, settling gently on fluted vanities, warm brass accents, and quiet corners that speak of stillness. In this Centurion bathroom renovation — completed for one of Oakmont’s interior design clients — each element was chosen not for attention, but for atmosphere.
Calm and Tranquillity
The brief was simple: a calm, complete transformation.
Oakmont took the lead from concept to completion, managing every facet of the project — from plumbing and electrical to custom vanities, tiling, mirrors, and shower glass. This full-scope execution allowed for the kind of cohesion you feel more than see — in the way the basin floats under a soft wash of underlighting, or how the brushed brass fixtures mirror the soft golden glow of a side table’s satin sheen.
Bathroom bliss in every detail
The custom vanity, wrapped in a muted sage finish, anchors the space without overwhelming it. A sculptural basin rests atop marble-look stone, while the surrounding walls are softened with embossed tiles in a delicate botanical motif — a quiet nod to nature without cliché.
The mirror is backlit, the bathtub freestanding, and the intention unmistakable: to create a space that restores rather than performs.
This is not simply a bathroom. It is a considered pause — a gentle exhale — crafted with care by Oakmont.
