About Potted Glass Gallery & Studio

Potted Glass Studio is a Linden based art studio, gallery and design hub. This female owned enterprise designs and manufactures bespoke decor items and furniture.

Potted Glass Studio is home to Jewelled Leaf Studio, one of the very few stained glass studios left in greater South Africa. Jewelled Leaf is owned by Cathy Froneman, a hugely talented glass artisan with many years of experience. Cathy’s ability to design and manufacture extraordinary stained glass windows, doors, lamps, including Tiffany styled shades, and a variety of stained glass ornaments makes her the leading stained glass artist in Gauteng

Potted Glass Studio is also home to Mandi Friedman Art, a bespoke, mostly sculptural ceramic studio. Mandi Friedman is an award winning ceramicist who has taken part in many exhibitions, solo exhibitions and represented South Africa at an international exhibition in Dubai in 2024

Mandi’s work is most often brightly decorated and highly detailed, and her pieces one of a kind. She has just started a couple of production lines suitable for upmarket private homes, hotels and offices

Artist, Sharene Mylchreest, is a hugely talented artist and her home base can also be found at Potted Glass Studio.

Sharene Mylchreest is a Johannesburg based artist, creative, teacher and designer specialising in watercolour and the transformation of found objects. Bringing magic to her art making she is also known as the Art Fairy.
