When Op ten Noord Blijdenstein Architects were commissioned to renovate the exterior and interior of the Bisonspoor shopping centre in Maarssen, the vision of making the shopping centre the heart of the village arose together with the client. The building was to radiate openness and a natural atmosphere. In order to achieve this in the interior, Bamboo UltraDensity was used, among other things, for floors in heavily frequented areas and also as wall cladding.
