We were approached by Marriott International to create the visual identity for a unique coffee shop concept for their W Hotel, Yas Island. The coffee shop, called Roastery, located in the hotel lobby, forms the pulse of the space. We created a high-energy concept using fluorescent green and matte black for bold contrast. Roastery makes its own blends, roasted three times a day to match the mood of the hour. We developed an alchemy-based typography to represent the meticulous process that Roastery’s expert baristas use to create the perfect blend.
