An old building on Foreshore needed refurbishment to attract new tenants. The building has an exoskeleton precast concrete facade, which made it challenging to create a ‘floating plasma facade.’ Bomax redesigned and coordinated building services with the help of expert engineers. A staircase in The Link building connecting to a Virgin Active gym allowed Bomax to express a dynamic design with wide treads and easy risers. Human body movements inspired the staircase design in sport, and its colour speaks of the Virgin Active brand without the need for signage.
