The luxurious Sayari Outdoor Collection is inspired by the beauty of the African continent. The return of sculptural and curved seating - outdoors. Instead of using traditional shapes and patterns, this collection is a contemporary ode to the place our Studio calls home. “Sayari” is Swahili and translates to “Planet”. The focus of the collection lies on being gentle and conscious of our Sayari and creating products made of the Eucalyptus Globulus alien species which has a negative impact on the biodiversity of South Africa.

About STUDIO LLOYD

Studio Lloyd is a female-run lighting design studio based in cape town, South Africa. it is striving for diversity within the handcrafted lighting design scope and creates unique and functional pieces.
The studio was founded in 2016 by industrial lighting designer Ashlee Lloyd. Each piece at Studio Lloyd is delicately made with sublime attention to detail. Studio Lloyd incorporates the traditional technique of crochet into modern lighting and focuses on creating organic shapes within each unique design. We allow each fixture to develop organically & we combine luxurious high-quality materials. The products range from light sculpture installations to light pendants, seating and decorative elements for international as well as local projects. The result is a culmination of functionality and true individuality.
