Delene Lambert is a self-taught artist with over 30 years of painting experience. Originally from Zimbabwe, she began painting while living on a remote farm with her husband and children. What started as a pastime soon became a full-time pursuit as her work gained popularity and sold consistently. In 2002, Delene and her family were forcibly removed from their farm and relocated to South Africa. She now lives near Ellisras, where she continues to paint the wildlife and horses she is so passionate about. She spends hours at local waterholes, carefully studying animals to capture their essence
