Marconato & Zappa started from the idea of developing a practical and manoeuvrable seating solution that could be easily moved with just one hand, while also having compact dimensions to allow for multiple elements of the same line to be grouped together in a contiguous space. The result was the Smile family of living room poufs, characterised by an informal yet refined design.

The fixed or swivel frame, made entirely of ash wood and available in all finishes from the collection, rises to form a handle shaped like a smile – hence the name of these poufs.
