Metal Windows: Silvermist Estate – Unspoilt Terrain in the City

The Silvermist  project was bursting with potential and called upon the experts from Metal Windows to work alongside their designers to bring their visions to life.

Silvermist Estate is situated on Constantia Nek within the Table Mountain National Park, which is a recognised World Heritage Site. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, here you will find a private estate in excess of 120 acres.

The design project

Metal Windows consultant Bronwyn and Larry (CEO of Metal Windows) worked with Tyrone Mcann to design and custom configure all the windows and doors for maximum utility and aesthetic appeal. Interior designer Tyrone managed the entire project.

Windows to the soul

Metal Windows installed Forman Brand Aluminium on all three floors. One enters the house on the middle floor into an open plan living area which flows out onto a wrap-around wooden deck. All the exterior facade doors are Forman F9 folding stack away doors opening up the spectacular views.

The interior doors are Forman F8 hinged doors. The opening windows are Forman F2 Aluminium casement hung. All products were supplied in a Matt Black finish. This choice of finish lends the space a more contemporary look and feel.

Inside and out, this project is about innate beauty, quality finishes and making the most of the exterior views. A beautiful, hidden gem in the city. The finished result is a spectacular home in the most diverse, unspoilt terrain in the City.
