Metal Windows: La Camargue Apartment Renovation – Sea Point Beachfront
An opulent but, tired and outdated apartment on Sea Point Beach Front received a refreshing facelift which included all new Forman Brand Aluminium windows & doors, custom designed, manufactured and retrofitted by Metal Windows.
MW replaced the old windows with our Forman Brand Aluminium windows with high performance solarvue neutral glass to stop the UV rays from damaging the furniture. The new windows include our Barsdamp® system which add an extra layer of protection against potential wind & water ingress.
To capitalize on the spectacular views we installed extra-large windows on the sea facing façade, to maintain our strict safety standards custom frameless toughened safety glass balustrades were installed (in front of the windows), providing a safety barrier without obstructing views. All glass used in this renovation is toughened safety glass providing both safety and energy efficiency.
For added privacy in the master and all guest bathrooms translucent laminated safety glass was used. The existing Alplas shutters were removed, refurbished and reinstalled by Alplas.
