Plascon’s Sweet Disposition: 2021’s Delicious New Favourite Hue
Never before have our homes – their atmosphere, aesthetic and ambience – been so important. With people spending more time within their four walls than ever before, the need to feel good in general has become essential.
Plascon, with its finger on the pulse and its ear to the ground, has looked at both this global imperative to “nest” as well as the need for something to look forward to. This, in combination with the overall generosity of spirit and outpouring of empathy that bubbled up in 2020, is what paved the way for choosing 2021’s Favourite Hue.
Cue Plascon Golden Syrup (Y2-B1-2), a warm, sunny yellow that encapsulates positivity, confidence and joy. An embracing tone, Plascon Golden Syrup (Y2-B1-2) has the power to instantly uplift, nurture and illuminate (both literally and figuratively). Embodying optimism, it’s a feel-good hug in a paint tin.
As a rich and neutral yellow, Plascon Golden Syrup (Y2-B1-2) is easily adaptable to many types of palettes and works beautifully with an unlimited range of design styles. Plascon Golden Syrup (Y2-B1-2) is tintable in all of Plascon’s premium products. Plascon Velvaglo is great for use in your kitchen or bathroom, where the satin sheen finish of this premium enamel will give your walls a rich lustre. It’s formulated for use on both interior and exterior surfaces, high-traffic zones, friendly entrance halls and quiet, cosy corners.

February 17, 2021Can you please recommend a white colour for my walls inside. I have terracotta tiles on the flour and wooden furniture. The rooms are very dark, although I have large windows. Can I go pure white? I don’t want beige and the colour mustn’t have a yellow undertone. I’ve tried Serene, Ivory White, Tranquil and Antique Petal in the past, but it is still not white enough for me. Is it possible to get a white with a warm undertone? The entrance, living and dining rooms are connected ( open plan) with no doors to the family room and passage.
I prefer to paint in Cashmere. Is it still available? I can’t find it in Ermelo. Do you have a showroom in Pretoria that I can visit?
Your advice will be highly appreciated.
