Pride of Africa
Drawing inspiration from our magnificent continent, Pride of Africa offers a variety of sustainably sourced hardwood products, including flooring, decking and cladding.
“We are the only hardwood timber processing and manufacturing firm in Sub-Saharan Africa that is vertically integrated,” explains the company.
“That means that we have direct control over our supply chain including logging, forestry management and milling, as well as manufacturing and processing. This has made us a market leader in product knowledge, sustainability and quality assurance, and allows us unparalleled flexibility when it comes to trends and market requirements.”
As such, Pride of Africa does not only stock a comprehensive range of hardwood flooring and decking options but also luxury vinyl tiles, engineered flooring and laminate flooring, as well as carpets.
“Our aim is to help our clients with comprehensive, efficient and robust solutions that meet their individual and unique style tastes in interior and exterior floor finishings and coverings,” they continue to explain.
One such popular flooring solution is decking – an in-demand choice in sunny South Africa where homeowners spend a large part of the year cooking, relaxing and entertaining outdoors.
In fact, the company is the only local teak decking manufacturer that cuts decking to international standards.
“We use 400mm increments which cuts down the wastage for the end user and installer by as much as 12%,” they explain. “We also offer a totally reversible product, which has a ribbed anti-slip side on one side and a plain moulded top face. Our decking comes in both Standard and Easy Clip profiles.”
The leading supplier of Rhodesian teak timber decking in SA, the company prides itself on the quality of its timber products that are imported from their factory in Zimbabwe, and come with full forestry accreditation, as well as warranties against decay and moisture.
