Welcome to the compact, curvy Sixties Collection from Plaisir du Jardin!
The Swinging Sixties, a youth-driven culture revolution that took Britain by storm in the mid to late 60’s, was an era that saw a flourish in art, music and fashion.
Playing a huge part in this culture were the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, models Twiggy, and Jean Shrimpton and of course Mary Quant’s iconic miniskirt. Even the car industry joined the British Sixties invasion seeing the Mini Minor became a cult classic. Popular shopping areas erupted in King’s Road, Kensington and Carnaby Street. Fashion was colourful, bold and edgy.
Plaisir du Jardin takes us back in time to bring you the latest retro designs from France.
