The Lighting Warehouse: Shades of Light
Industrial lighting is all about rustic finishes, neutral colours, and an emphasis on metal, and it has never been more popular.
Melissa Davidson from The Lighting Warehouse explains: “The modern industrial pendants of today are different to their traditional counterparts from the past – unlike common warehouse-type styles, today’s industrial pendants are made from sleeker metals, boast richer and more varied tones, and often feature interesting, refined textured finishes.”
She says that industrial pendants, such as the Stanley range from The Lighting Warehouse for example, can be used to great effect to create a unique twist to any area they grace. They are most commonly used in places such as kitchens, dining areas and large rooms with high ceilings.
“Don’t be afraid to mix industrial elements into your current décor scheme – they are no longer as brutal or unfinished as they used to be. With its updated look, industrial-style lighting can complement any modern or eclectic décor style,” explains Melissa.
The Stanley 25003 and Stanley 25004 boast a high-gloss and durable enamel finish, with old-style black rim detailing. Both retail for R1799,00 each from The Lighting Warehouse. NOTE: E&OE. While stocks last.
The Stanley 25002 is slightly smaller than its two other compatriots – it has a glass diffuser with clips, as well as a gorgeous textured honeycomb-type finish on the metal shade. It retails for R1999,00 from The Lighting Warehouse. NOTE: E&OE. While stocks last.
