Streamlight: Light up the DARK.
Specialists in lighting fixtures, it is no surprise that Streamlight stocks a wide selection of illuminating designs, from contemporary pendants to classic chandeliers.
One such range is the collection of fixtures and lamps by DARK, a Jo’burg-based lighting design firm.
“At DARK we believe that our range of lighting solutions has the power to challenge and change a point of view, or context, even bring new value to the familiar. Our mission is guided by a single aspiration; Give light the room to shine and life is instantly made better,” explains the team.
“DARK has a wide arrangement of lighting solutions, each with its creative potential and dozens of possible solutions for both small and large spaces,” they continue.
And there’s certainly no shortage of creativity when it comes to their designs. There’s the exquisite and delicate glass, steel and acrylic Folli pendant light, the futuristic Labyrinth 69 ceiling light and the quirky Outline 101 pendant light just for starters.
Then there’s the cloud-like Cumulus 24 pendant, the intricate Galaxy 50 fixture and the sunset-inspired mesh design of the Sunrise 135 pendant light that reminds one of a very stylish upside-down chandelier.
For those who prefer a slightly more classic look, options abound too. The Mason 80 pendant and Manhattan 199 wall light provide just the right amount of retro glam while the Inox 64 and Pipe Dreams 122 designs are true classics.
The company’s table lamps are equally creative – there’s the 45 Degree 161, Eclipse 165 and Marble 168 – each inspired by a full moon. And the contemporary geometric design of the Zig Zag 189 floor lamp.
