Neolith and PITT Cooking Blaze The Trail
Neolith®, a market-leading brand of Sintered Stone, has recently announced an exclusive partnership with integrated gas hob manufacturer PITT cooking in South Africa.
This exciting collaboration was born from a mutual respect of each company’s innovative, forward thinking and dynamic approaches. It will see both Neolith’s and PITT cooking’s sales teams working closely to promote both products in conjunction as complementary accessories.
A key objective will be to demonstrate the aesthetic potential when the brands are used together, as well as showcasing the high performance qualities of both worktop and cooker.
Maikel Bink, managing director of PITT cooking comments, “Neolith and PITT cooking have a longstanding business relationship. We’re two companies with the same mindset, and a passion for offering home cooks and professional chefs the perfect balance between design and practicality. South Africa is a highly competitive market and combining our complementary offerings gives us a stronger proposition to present to our audiences.”
He continues, “Our two brands are constantly focused on offering the best quality products and service. We share a vision to deliver the ideal user experience, and for me this value offers a solid base for a sustainable, long term partnership.”

Neolith, which is celebrating its 10th year in business, will also be doubling the size of its Johannesburg warehouse, from 1000m2 to 2000m2.
Since Neolith launched in South Africa in 2012 interest in the material and demand for it has soared, as a growing number of the country’s architects look for high-performance and aesthetically pleasing surfacing solutions.
Commenting on the move, Neolith’s Director, Mar Esteve Cortes, says, “South Africa’s architectural community has a reputation for being vibrant and forward thinking. As much as this reflects their approach to design, it also applies to the materials which they use to bring their ambitious concepts to life. A relatively new entry to this market, Neolith offers these progressive professionals a surfacing solution which allows for maximum practicality and unlimited creativity.
“The expansion of the warehouse highlights our ongoing commitment to our South African audience, ensuring our supply chain is robust enough to meet a significant increase in orders.”
Neolith’s enhanced warehouse will open in July 2019. The work will not interrupt the current supply chain, with business operating as usual during the build.
