Villeroy & Boch: Ethnic Spirit For International Gastronomy
Algo is the new Villeroy & Boch dinnerware decor inspired by African basketry. Traditionally hand-woven from grasses and colourful ribbons, these accessories have a simple, clear design for everyday use.

The wide variety of patterns were embraced, given a minimalist twist and then transferred to porcelain in a soft colour for Algo. The result is a finely detailed design where many small lines in clear geometric forms come together to create a harmonious overall picture, producing a dynamic effect on the surface of the round plates.
Algo is available in two subtle colours on a white background: Blue, a fine light blue, and Maroon, a soft beige/brown, perfectly harmonise with the pared-down basket design. This is beautiful dinnerware to make a statement!

Thanks to its ethnic look, Algo is perfect for casual dining in a setting that creatively responds to the wide range of cultures and traditions. It allows chefs to showcase their food on an understated yet expressive stage. The decorated plates can also be combined with white or plain-coloured Villeroy & Boch crockery ranges and products made from glass, slate, cork or wood.
