Sustainable Design with Cosentino Natura: Earth-Inspired Surfaces for Modern Spaces
In design today, sustainability is no longer a desirable add-on; it is an essential premise. The question has shifted from whether materials should be responsible to how they express that responsibility in lived spaces. Within Cosentino’s Natura macrotrend, outlined in Shaping Tomorrow: Future Design & Architecture 2025-2026, the answer is quietly confident: surfaces that reconnect interiors with nature, calm, and emotional clarity.
Rather than commanding attention, the Natura palette is designed to support it. Earthy, mineral-led tones create environments that feel human and immersive, spaces shaped for longevity rather than visual noise. Within Cosentino’s portfolio, four tones stand out as particularly resonant interpretations of this philosophy.
Cocina + Living con EARTHIC FFROM01 y FFROM03
Posidonia Green from Silestone draws inspiration from the Mediterranean Sea. Soft, luminous, and gently enveloping, its green hue brings freshness and vitality to kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas without dominating them. Produced using Hybriq+ technology, it incorporates premium minerals, recycled materials, 99% reused water, and 100% renewable energy—making sustainability an intrinsic part of its appeal.
From the Silestone Earthic collection, Ffrom 03 represents a more conceptual approach. Developed in collaboration with Formafantasma, the surface combines an anthracite base with inlays of recycled PET that resemble fragments of a night sky. With up to 30% recycled components, including glass, PET plastics, bio-resins, and Dekton remnants, from 03 transforms waste into beauty, offering a powerful statement on circular design.
Also within Earthic, Raw G reinterprets the aesthetic of cement through a softer, more tactile lens. Its grey background is subtly animated by copper-toned veining, creating depth without severity. Versatile and understated, it works effortlessly across residential kitchens and contract interiors, reinforcing the idea that responsible materials can still feel warm and refined.

Completing the quartet is Grigio from Dekton’s Pietra Kode collection. Inspired by the historic Grigio Alpi stone used since the Renaissance, its mineral palette conveys continuity and balance. Highly durable, low maintenance, and timeless in character, Grigio aligns sustainability with endurance, an essential consideration in long-term design.
Together, these four tones embody the essence of Natura: surfaces that do not seek to impress, but to endure. In doing so, Cosentino reframes sustainability not as restraint, but as a return to what feels essential – materials that breathe, ground, and quietly support the way we live.
