Surfaces surround us and we interact with them constantly, and every day we ask them for more and more. Now, after a two-year R&D project, Arpa Industriale introduces VIS – the new engineered surface for interior design.

VIS grants a wear resistance up to 20 times higher than standard HPL. This is a giant leap that allows people to use, clean and enjoy surfaces longer and easier in their kitchens, bathrooms, and offices, just as in any other interior space.

With VIS, Arpa reiterates its commitment to develop surfaces that follow the company’s guiding principles of innovation and sustainability. The aim of VIS is to offer a more durable material for interior design projects.

Why the name “VIS”?

The name of Arpa’s newest surface originates from the Latin “vis, roboris,” and it means “strength, vigour, power.” VIS is inspired by the strength that comes from the natural elements, and the relationship between power and humans in mythology.
