AKA DESIGN
AKA Design was born out of the love one person had for DIY and pretty things. Having grown up in a very construction oriented family, Amanda left the corporate world and decided to follow that which was in her blood. Only she chose to forget about the cement part, and focus more on what makes a house a home.
AKA Design is a freelance design agency, who works directly with homeowners, property developers, builders and architects. They have been designing and project managing beautiful spaces for over a decade.
“We have spent a number of years working with kitchen manufacturers where we learnt how kitchens were built. We have designed a huge variety of kitchens, from international celebrities to grandma’s cosy space. It is, therefore, safe to say that we are able to cater to all tastes. We pride ourselves on not just designing pretty spaces, but spaces that are both beautiful as well as functional.” What can you expect from AKA Design? The team provides a professional design, planning and home consultation service to kitchen companies, contractors, decorators, architects and individuals. They boast an extensive list of installers who they design for and are able to arrange comparative quotations for you. AKA Design focuses on the design and do not sell kitchens, and are thereby able to give unbiased and impartial advice to clients
