4 Ways to Warm up your Kitchen Design this Winter with Franke
As the landscape transforms from green to grey this winter, and we begin seeking shelter from the cold, we find ourselves spending the majority of our time in the kitchen. Whether we’re in front of the stove, cooking up a tasty soup, or sitting around the table and sharing a warm cup of coffee with our friends, there’s no place we’d rather be.

So seeing as the kitchen has become our favourite hangout spot this season, we decided to give a little thought to how we could make it look as warm and cosy as it feels. Take a look at the ideas we came up with below if you’d like to warm up your kitchen design this winter.
Kitchen Rugs

While it may not be practical to have a fully carpeted kitchen, you can still fluff up your flooring with some texture-rich and colourful rugs. These will instantly make any room look warmer and homelier.
Exposed Brick

As a popular trend this season, we’ve seen many examples of how exposed brick can heat the home. But we’re particularly interested in how it can heat up the heart of the home with its cheery orange and red undertones.
Copper Kitchen Design

There’s no better way to add a warm and radiant glow to your kitchen than with a few copper accents. Be it cabinet handles, pendants or cookware, copper is definitely a favoured finish for winter kitchen design.
Kitchen Throws

The kitchen may seem like an odd place for throws, but they’re a great idea if you want to give your design a luxuriously cosy feel. Drape one over a chair or table to make your kitchen more winter-friendly. Do you have any winter kitchen design tips that you’d like to share? We’d love to hear from you! So don’t be shy, leave us a few lines in the comment box below and tell us what you’d do to warm up your kitchen.
