Coney Collective: Beautiful, Reclaimed & Custom-Made
Coney Timbers is all about sustainable design inspired by nature. Their recent installation at the V&A Waterfront sees a fresh new look with beautifully reclaimed and custom-made furniture taking centre stage. Here they supplied all the communal tables, benches, cafe tables and feature art benches.
Makers Landing
Housed within the reimagined Cape Town Cruise Terminal at the V&A Waterfront, Makers Landing will be an industrial, repurposed space that meets the vision of an inclusive, inspiring, authentic space of learning, growth and connection. The space is planned to open this December.
Coney Timbers were thrilled to be involved in Makers Landing, which is set to become a new cornerstone in our food ecosystem. The space is built around a community with food as a passion point and cultural connector, and where authentic South African food and its diversity is shared and celebrated. It is here where foodpreneurs can innovate, learn and grow their businesses within a local food community.
Coney Timbers have custom-made the industrial-looking table and benches, large feature benches, cafe tables in bright red and beetroot and recycled furniture for the bespoke Pinnaar and Sons Gin Distillery.
