The African Touch: A Hemingway-Inspired Gin and Whisky Bar
Ernest Hemingway, the American journalist and novelist, loved the African safari and was fond of a glass or two after a hot day’s hunting or fishing. The African Touch decided to build a drinks cabinet in honour of this great character who captured so much of the essence of Africa in his writing.
The Hemingway Field Bar is designed in the tradition of British Army campaign furniture. As such it is a portable, mobile bar. Interior divisions provide secure storage for crystal glasses and decanters. At the same time, the fold-down front is an excellent mixing tray!
Furthermore, the Hemingway Field Bar is an exceptional piece of classic cabinetry that enhances any space and does away with ugly bottle filled shelves. It will delight your friends and guests and is a fitting cabinet for a fine whiskey collection.
Interior divisions provide secure storage for 14 crystal glasses, 2 decanters and 8 bottles. Solid brass corner blocks and straps protect this fine piece from knocks and bashes. Furthermore, the beautifully styled legs fold together when the drinks cabinet is moved. This also facilitates transport and delivery.
Another useful addition to the Field Bar is The African Touch Wash Stand, useful as an ice bucket to cool your favourite vino.
This field bar is a versatile choice that can be used in many environments. You can use it as a whiskey display cabinet for a selection of whiskeys from a collection. Whether in private upmarket homes or in camps and lodges, it can replace a pub or be used as a Gin bar. A stylish addition to any space!
Bring the Hemingway home and check out this and other great options now available from The African Touch.
