Pierre Cronje: Cape Heritage Meets Contemporary
Today we are marvelling at some of the finest local furniture on offer. We are talking beautiful bespoke designs and solid wood handcrafted furniture from the likes of one of our favourite local manufacturers, Pierre Cronje.
Their original dining table styles and finishes combine international furniture trends with Cape heritage and classic design, making it timeless. Inspired by the designs of the Cape Dutch Settlers and French Huguenots, and drawing on Shaker-style simplicity, Pierre Cronjes revises these traditions into unique, iconic furniture pieces as per their heritage range. On the opposite side of the spectrum sits their contemporary furniture which borrows elements from all styles and eras, making it truly iconic. Bespoke tables with a combination of timber and handmade polished stainless steel and/or glass bases reflects their design versatility.
The end product is often a breath-taking piece of art. Both the contemporary and heritage furniture celebrate the unique; reflecting individual style and showcasing the singular character of wood. Pierre Cronje’s portfolio of custom indoor and outdoor furniture, as well as their association with top internationally acclaimed designers, are testament to their exclusive quality and interpretation of individual tastes and desires. You can select from a wide variety of quality wooden furniture, including dining tables, servers, beds, benches, bar and shelving units and much more. Expect top quality and distinct pieces to make a lasting statement in your home.
