True Design: Go Retro with La DoubleJ For Kartell

Colour, research and innovation: La DoubleJ – the project by J.J. Martin was created in 2015 to offer a new trend, consisting of prints, designs and vintage rarities – and meets the creativity of Kartell for a project dedicated to interior design. La DoubleJ prints dress the great Kartell icons in new ways, playing on the balance of shapes and colours.

The collection comprises a retro mix of beautiful pieces – bringing a quirky yet modern look to Kartell. From rugs and seating to side tables and more, the collection boasts an array of interesting pieces to suit the contemporary lifestyle.

L’americana:

The La Double J collection for Kartell presents L’americana, a hard placemat available in four different variants: Olive, Galletti, Ninfea and Pic-Nic.

Clap:

The Clap small armchair, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is now part of the La Double J collection for Kartell, with the fabrics Olive, Ninfea, Geometrico and Pic-Nic. The seat structure is available in three different colours (white, black and red), which transversely match the four patterns of the frame.

Tip Top:

The Tip Top side table, designed by Philippe Starck with Eugeni Quitllet, is now part of the La Double J collection for Kartell with customised tops. The Pic-nic pattern matches the black version and the Ninfea and Olive variants match the white one.

Componibili:

Kartell’s undisputed bestseller is now part of the collection created by La Double J, with customised doors and top in the three-drawer version. The Galletti and Ninfea prints are paired with the white version, the Geometrico pattern with the red model.

Cushions:

The cushions are presented in nine different variants: Galletti, Uccellini, Ruote, Lilium red, Pic-nic, Geometrico, Ninfea, Olive and Tulipani. Available in two different sizes – 48x48cm and 48x35cm – they can be used in a variety of combinations.
