Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Touché Wood manufactures a range of home furniture and accessories, including mirrors, shelves, desks, wine racks, and more.

“Our mission is to create beautiful, timeless, simplistic and mostly, affordable furniture for people to create a home they can be proud of,” says owner Shayna.

One way, Shayna believes customers can create beautiful spaces is through the use of mirrors. “A mirror does so much for a space,” she says. “It makes it bigger, brighter, and more beautiful. You’ll never know what difference a mirror can make to a living space until it’s there.”

“Our new Large Arched Mirror is especially great for making a statement in an entrance hall (or any space for that matter) and making a space appear larger and more light-filled. While our smaller Tablet Mirrors make a clean, minimalist statement. It’s a very versatile design, suitable for any wall space. Even better, you can double or treble them alongside one another.”

Mirrors can also be used in multiple ways, of course. For instance, it can be hung on the horisontal or vertical, or made to stand on the floor for a more casual look. 

“One of our customers chose to use our Window Wall Mirror as a “floor” mirror,” she says. “I love the look and feel of the space she has created.”

You can also choose to use a single mirror to make a statement or create groupings, much like you would artwork, to fill an empty wall.
