Tom Dixon: retro funk
Adding a retro funk to al-fresco spaces, Tom Dixon has just unveiled his first collection of outdoor furniture, Groove.
Following 10 years of research and development, the range combines Dixon’s signature style with functionality, leveraging the unique properties of aluminium, including its resilience against corrosion and lightweight nature, to deliver durable, stackable seating and dining solutions ideal for residential and hospitality spaces.
With its distinctive art-deco-inspired ridges, the Groove collection consists of an oblong table, chairs, armchairs and stools in two exciting, on-trend hues – Moss and Putty.
The inspiration for the collection dates back to 2012 when Dixon collaborated with Trumpf at Most, and more recently with Hydro (2021), the world’s leading aluminium producer.
The collection is also available with seat cushions to ensure maximum comfort. Groove will be available for sale online and through preferred stockists worldwide from 27 January 2025.
