Esse Lounge
The Esse Family, Pianca:
Adding to and completing the series of seating from the Esse family – created based on the same inspirational blueprint – we now have the Esse Lounge, too: an armchair with an even softer and more enveloping backrest.
The moulded seat – like the base – can be upholstered in fabric, leather or imitation leather, choosing any option from the Pianca range. The version on legs, on the other hand, can be made from solid black walnut or ash. The ample, inviting shape of the seat gives the armchair a welcoming, protective feel.
Compared to its “sisters”, Esse Lounge is more generous in its proportions, denoting a casual nature more geared towards offering a relaxing, restful break.
Clatea
Clatea:
Eclectic and elegant, alluring and charismatic: Clatea, the armchair de-signed for Pianca by Cristina Celestino, is the synthesis of an exploration of forms that investigates the out-of-scale proportions of simple, primitive elements like leaves.
The organic volumes and richness of the elegantly stylish details are inspired by the extraordinary qualities of the eponymous plant native to South America, which stimulates the senses on many different levels.
The design is structured around the dialogue between botany and ergonomics, interpreted through a bold, enveloping and comfortable design featuring bright, vivid colours drawn from the plant’s own amazing natural palette. Sinking into the embrace of nature, allowing yourself to be enveloped by the beauty of a secret garden: this is Calatea’s delicate, evocative invitation.
