SOFACOMPANY: Danish Design
Revolutionising furniture design and accessibility.
Founded by : visionaries Cathrine and Christian Rudolph, SOFACOMPANY is a bold venture challenging the norms of the furniture industry. Fueled by a dream to offer beautiful, high-quality furniture at consistently honest prices, the founders envisioned a unique business model — cutting out middlemen and ensuring direct supply from their factory in Vietnam.
“Our integrated design and production model enables us to pass through fair prices to our customers, every day. It allows us to anticipate the future for your benefit – in terms of design but also in terms of price,” says Cathrine and Christian.
The core philosophy at SOFACOMPANY is to make great furniture design accessible to everyone. The founders believe in a future where production and retail seamlessly converge, creating a responsive furniture industry akin to the dynamics of the fashion world.
“With our network of international trend spotters and our in-house design team, we ensure a design-forward approach, crafting exquisite furniture while championing responsible retail and sustainability initiatives. Our dedicated SOFACOMPANY Professional team works with designer clients around the world to bring to life their creative visions,” adds Jonno Sherwin, Director of SOFACOMPANY South Africa.
The company’s values of authenticity, functionality, and quality underpin every facet of its operations. The team, young and dynamic, share a passion for design and customer satisfaction. From Denmark to Sweden, Norway, Holland, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, South Africa, Vietnam and Malaysia, SOFACOMPANY has established a global presence with local offices and showrooms.
SOFACOMPANY is a global brand that embodies quintessential Danish design. It’s not just a furniture provider; it is a movement toward transparent, credible, and authentic business practices. The company’s commitment to quality challenges industry standards, ensuring that everyone can afford excellent furniture design without compromising on craftsmanship.
