Leonardo Design: Variations on a Honeycomb
The perfect geometry of the honeycomb pattern is a popular theme across numerous design disciplines for good reason. Apart from being harmonious to the eye, it is also incredibly strong making it perfect in furniture manufacturing. Today we look at some examples of how honeycomb is used as inspiration within the latest collections available from Leonardo Tables by Design.
Firstly, the Loft Console and coffee table range. This is the smallest of Leonardo Design’s consoles with a footprint of only 1200mm x 480mm. This makes it an ideal choice when designing a décor scheme for the smaller contemporary home.
The perfect geometry of the honeycomb pattern in the side panels lends an interesting style element to this versatile piece. As such, it won’t dominate over or detract from your décor scheme’s finer details. Being a nature-inspired design both the Loft Console and the matching coffee tables will work perfectly in any setting from formal elegance to Boho chic and while giving a stylish cohesion to your décor scheme.
The Honeycomb
The next collection is simply named The Honeycomb and consists of two coffee tables and a matching side table. This makes it perfect for industry professionals working on corporate briefs that call for a combination of easy cohesion and definitive style.
Stretched Honeycomb
Slightly elongating the honeycomb lends a whole new dynamic to this wonderful shape – hence the Stretched Honeycomb range. As with the previous range, two coffee tables and a side table opens a host of placement and grouping options.
The powder-coated Ferrugrain finish of the frames, tops and shelves offers maximum practicality with surfaces that will withstand daily wear and tear and are easily cleaned with just a damp cloth. The wide range of colours available has been chosen to suit today’s popular pallets, ensuring that the Loft Console compliments your ideas perfectly.
