Lantern Love with Scalini
Create a rustic chic ambience at home with these gorgeous lanterns from Scalini.
Here are some stunning decor ideas using lanterns in a contemporary setting.
Group lanterns together
Group lanterns together to make a bold display in your home. You can group lanterns of different sizes and styles together on a table or shelf. This will add height and dimension to your decor. You can also hang multiple lanterns of the same style at different heights to create a striking visual effect.
Add fun seasonal elements
To make your lanterns even more visually appealing, consider adding decorative and seasonal elements. You can add flowers, greenery, or other decorative items inside the lantern. Furthermore, you can also add ribbons or bows to the outside of the lantern to match the decor of the room.
Line your front stoep with lanterns
Create a striking entryway with lanterns leading to your doorstep. This is a great way to add some curb appeal and functionally light the path to your home.
Use candles or LEDS
Lanterns are often used with candles, which can add a warm and cosy glow to a room. However, you can also use LED lights to achieve the same effect without the risk of fire. Choose lights with a warm, yellow glow to create a welcoming ambience.
Decorate a mantel or shelf
Give your room some added definition and colour with lanterns on a display shelf or mantel. A lantern may be the perfect thing to pretty up your space.
