La-Z-Boy: Comfort loungers
Synonymous with kick-back-in-comfort loungers with cupholders, La-Z-Boy is a well-known name in the furniture industry.
But the company stocks a lot more than comfy recliners. It also has a wide range of corner sofas and daybeds for small and large spaces.
Available in an array of fabric and leather upholstery options, these comfortable seating solutions are the perfect addition to any home.
Here, the team from La-Z-Boy shares how to perfectly utilise and style your La-Z-Boy corner sofa or daybed.
A daybed is a great addition to a home, especially if space is tight, as it can be used for sitting or sleeping. Position it under a window or in an empty corner to maximise space. But remember, a daybed is not only suited for living areas – it can also be placed in a study, bedroom or even on a covered patio.
Make sure your daybed or corner couch looks inviting. To do this, add scatter cushions and throws in warm, inviting colours and soft textures.
A recliner-daybed combo is a great choice for living rooms as it provides users with different seating options all in one. The Pasadena motion corner and daybed, for instance, has a recliner, daybed and seat, and can easily seat three people.
If possible, go large on your corner sofa. Not only will this allow you to seat more people but it will be more comfy and look more inviting. The Owen motion corner lounge suite, for example, can easily seat five people and have two recliners.
When styling your space, be sure to place side tables on either side of your daybed or corner sofa, and ideally a coffee table in front of it, to ensure there is ample space for mugs, glasses, books and more that is in easy reach of everyone.
Choose a daybed or corner sofa in a neutral colour that compliments your existing colour scheme. As it is a piece that will see a lot of use, opting for a stain-resistant fabric is also always a good idea.
