Italian culture design: Casarredo

Highlighting the influence of Italian culture, design and craftsmanship on luxury, design, culture, fashion and food around the world, Bloomingdale’s New York will be hosting a special exhibition, “From Italy with Love” from 4 to 29 September.

In association with Salone del Mobile. Milaon, the exhibition will consist of several exclusive site-specific exhibitions at the New York store. The project, curated by Ferruccio Laviani and inspired by Giorgio de Chirico and Italian piazzas, will tell the story of the collective heritage and creativity of Salone del Mobile Milano through its companies, allowing them to display one of their iconic products among those chosen by the curator.

One of the most exquisite pieces chosen by Laviani is Gallotti&Radice’s Cloud Infinity modular sofa, designed by Massimo Castagna.
