Embrace the future with Pierre Cronje.
Built on years of experience and a rich furniture-making tradition, Pierre Cronje is also firmly looking towards the future with its latest pieces.
Founded more than three decades ago by Pierre Cronje, the company soon became known for its high-quality, custom-designed and hand-crafted solid wood furniture.
Today, the company’s fine furniture pieces are sought the world over.
“Unique design and a great respect for the raw product is what makes owning one of our furniture pieces so sought after,” says Pierre who attributes the company’s success to its ability to “incorporate South African heritage in new designs to fit a contemporary lifestyle”.
From custom indoor and outdoor furniture to flooring solutions, each piece is meticulously crafted by hand using only the best timber available.
“The dedication to craftsmanship – hand-made, escalated work set apart by quality – is integral to the Pierre Cronje philosophy,” Pierre continues.
“It relies on our artisans being dedicated to their materials and workmanship and continuing the Pierre Cronje tradition. As such, many of the craftsmen at Pierre Cronje’s workshop in Cape Town are apprenticed by master artisans.”
Apart from the ever-growing team of skilled craftspeople, the company also recently welcomed a new management team to help grow the company and move it forward.
“After 35 years of crafting premium furniture in Cape Town, I am excited to announce that the Pierre Cronje Brand is evolving. We welcome our highly skilled senior management to the directorship team. Our staff understand the essence of the brand meticulously. Their dedication and passion have facilitated the next chapter quite effortlessly,” said Pierre of the move.
“I have complete confidence in the new team to lead our company with the spirit and vision I have always imagined.”
The team will take on the day-to-day management of the company while Pierre will retain his advisory and creative roles.
