After many months of development and refinement, Chair Crazy is very pleased to announce to you, the South African interior design and architecture communities, that you can now buy any of our chairs directly from the comfort of your own – be that your ergonomically-designed office chair or your day-bed at home. And you can have them delivered without even having to get up to add another ice cube to the spritzer!

And what better way to communicate this news than via Sa Décor and Design with whom we have a long-standing relationship with, and who are always first with any IDA news?

In transforming our website from an online brochure to an online store, we started by making the user experience as visual as possible, so that the viewer can get a really good understanding of every product we procure internationally and sell here in SA. We wanted to remove the need that most South Africans still experience in the purchasing process that is best summed up in that wonderful phrase – “I still need to kick the tyres”.

We also wanted to standardize our trade discount process and show our most important community the discounted prices that they pay and not the normal retail prices our domestic customers pay.

So, this is how it works. Click the Chair Crazy Trade Partner Application link and it will take you straight to our registration page. Spend a minute filling in your basic details and push send. We screen each application against our current records and history and send you back a mail confirming your company’s personal trade discount whilst loading you onto our digital database.

We then send you another mail with your username (your email address) and ask you to set your password. Once you’ve done this and confirmed it, you’re ready to go. Log in in our Trade Partner area and your discounted prices appear across the entire website. It’s like some kind of magic!
