The Replica Hay 13Eighty, originally devised by Dutch designers Scholten & Baijings, is suitably named after the number of tiny holes in the moulded polypropylene shell. This particular design creates a unique aesthetic, where the play of light and shadow is key to the chair’s visual interpretation, and the variations in the sizes of these holes bring a watery, wavey sense of ebb and flow to its appearance.
