Living in the open air with Pedrali

Unveiled at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2025, Pedrali’s new outdoor collections redefine en plein air living.

Merging refined aesthetics with technical innovation, the brand’s latest outdoor ranges embody the elegance of indoor design while standing up to the elements with grace and resilience.

Built to last, these collections are made from high-quality materials that withstand sun, salt, wind, and time. But durability is just the beginning. What truly sets Pedrali apart is the feeling: each piece balances comfort with character, allowing outdoor spaces to become personal sanctuaries. With a focus on customisation, every project becomes a unique reflection of the people who inhabit it.

One standout is Griante, CMP Design’s latest tribute to craftsmanship and nature. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pedrali’s Manzano factory, Griante marks the brand’s first wooden outdoor chair. Crafted from FSC®-certified teak and featuring a handwoven Italian-made polypropylene belt, its tactile, three-dimensional texture and generous silhouette exude warmth and welcome.

Also from CMP Design, Coney brings an airy graphic presence to open-air lounging. Its clean lines and mono-material tubular frame create a sense of visual lightness, while ergonomic shaping and alternating slats add both support and style. The result? A seat that feels as easy as summer.

Another stand-out design is Anemos, a minimalist yet architectural table by Pio & Tito Toso. With a base formed from two curved aluminium shells and topped in textured concrete or clay finishes, it anchors the space with sculptural finesse.

Pedrali proves once again: outdoor living isn’t an afterthought – it’s a design statement.

Pedrali is available locally through Inova Contracts, a reputable stockist of design-led furniture for discerning South African buyers. Representing top names in the furniture world, such as Pedrali, Hay and Knoll, Inova Contracts is the go-to for unique, functional and appealing designer pieces.

A key trend in outdoor design this year is the use of earthy tones that echo the natural landscape, creating warm, welcoming atmospheres. This year, Pedrali introduces new glossy finishes in brown and olive green for Caementum monobloc tables, designed by Marco Merendi & Diego Vencato. To light up summer evenings, Filicudi rechargeable wireless lamp by Andrea Pedrali is made of an extruded aluminium column and a polycarbonate diffuser, defined by its essential and minimalist style
