SCAB Design Presents K Kaiseki Restaurant, Castellanza
A new destination for lovers of Japanese cuisine opens its doors in Castellanza (Varese), the K – Kaiseki Restaurant.
It was designed with the greatest attention to detail by Andrea Langhi Design, who thought of a place that could represent the dish that inspired the venue: the kaiseki, a traditional Japanese meal composed of many small dishes, which together give life to an unforgettable sensory experience.
Precisely to recreate the combination of taste and sight, the restaurant has been conceived as a stage on which dishes and courses come to life, causing amazement in the audience just like in a theatrical show.
And for the seats? None other than the Lisa chairs and armchairs designed by Marcello Ziliani for SCAB Design, presented in 2018, already one of the most requested products for their sober lines and the infinite combinations of finishes, materials, and fabrics. For the restaurant they chose the brass finish for the frame and a teal blue velvet fabric for the padding of the seat and backrest. A whole collection to offer maximum relaxation in convivial moments.
Lisa and Lisa Wood, Marcello Ziliani design
Lisa reflects the sophisticated tone that infused interior decor in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Its shape inspires a sense of reassuring warmth, retro charm and memories of home. The enveloping and comfortably upholstered seatback and seat make Lisa the ideal complement to a living room or contract setting. The lightweight but strong metal structure heightens the visual sense of lightness. Lisa comes in three versions: chair, armchair and stool.
The Lisa chair, armchair and stool have the following base finishes: painted anthracite, chromed, satin brass effect, polished black nickel. Upholstery: fabrics, faux-leather and velvet (sand, chestnut, green and brick). Fire-resistant. Padded seat and seatback with curved plywood core. Structure in 16 mm tubular steel. Chair and armchair dimensions: 56 x 51 x h 77 cm. Stool dimensions: 51 x 51 x h 98 cm
