A stunning example of the move to natural woodgrains is the installation in Namibia by “Specialised Building Products”. Using the authentic wood look – Prague option from Traviata’s Urban Collection they have transformed this home into an elegant and stylish retreat.
Aside from the aesthetics, the Urban collection LVT offers a number of practical benefits for the homeowner.
Whether for a new build or a renovation, the Urban Collection vinyl option is very quick to install using the recommended screed and adhesives. Being a “glued down” product it can be run throughout the house without the need for unsightly expansion profiles at doorways or in large open areas. Also this floor is waterproof so there is no hesitation using it in bathrooms, kitchens or laundries.
The lightly embossed wood grain surface along with the larger plank creates a very realistic finish which is warm and quiet under foot and offers excellent slip resistance in both wet and dry conditions.
