Traviloc IsoCore for new prestige office space
Traviata Floorings new IsoCore vinyl flooring has been used to great effect in the recently completed Rosebank Towers office block. Specified by Tetris South Africa for their client Hannover Re., the Swiss Oak Lucern colour made a perfect foil for the very modern black framed glass partitioning.
One of the requirements was that the flooring “flow” through some fairly large areas. The very low expansion characteristics of IsoCore meant this could be easily achieved with no unsightly profiles needed to break up the floor. Another requirement by the client was that the flooring be accurately cut along and around the Aluminium frames. The IsoCore product provides a lighter, stronger, more rigid board than traditional interlocking vinyl.
This allowed the installer, Executive Commercial Flooring, to deliver a finished floor that met with the clients high expectations of quality and accuracy. From an aesthetic perspective, the IsoCore’s ultra low-gloss surface the and amazing realism of the wood grain pattern has given the designers the confidence to mix it into a montage of thick pile carpet and other resilient finishes to achieve the overall look. On the practical side the IsoCore, with its factory applied underlay, provides a quiet and acoustically suitable environment in the corridors and meeting room / board room spaces. The IsoCore comes with a full commercial grade wear surface which is easy to maintain and will give many years of service. Contact: Traviata Flooring
