Terrazzo Love
When it comes to flooring, Terrazzo is making a huge comeback this season. Like a blast from the past, the striking shades of Terrazzo flooring are back in fashion, leaving their mark of design on floors everywhere!
Today is a high-end luxury finish, although its roots which date back quite a few decades, was that of a budget-friendly, DIY material. The possibilities are endless with Terrazzo bringing colour, texture and dimension to any interior. From statement walls to iconic floors, this material adds style and elegance with ease.
Made using chips of marble, quartz, granite, or even glass set into a matrix of concrete or epoxy resin, Terrazzo takes on a very distinct appearance. The chips can actually be quite large, and the matrix and the aggregate can be almost any colour you imagine, which makes for a host of design possibilities and endless potential. Modern variations can even be used in countertops!
If you’re looking to renovate your space without the commitment of bringing Terrazzo flooring into your home, you could choose a less permanent option and embrace the trend with modern Terrazzo wallpaper offerings. This way you can customise the colours you want to emphasize and can easily remove and update your space at a much more affordable cost.
