Cemcrete: Step Inside the Kariba Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe
Kariba Safari Lodge is situated on a pristine Zimbabwe mountainside with sweeping views over the blue water and the islands in the eastern basin of the lake. It is a true paradise location with glorious scenery and beautiful finishes that add to the luxury feel of this exquisite lodge.
The Lodges and Suites are distributed over 33 acres of forested hillside, sloping down to the lake shore and beach area. There is a sandy beach and a swimming cage in the lake with a diameter of 15 metres that allows you to swim directly in the lake without fear of crocodiles or hippos.
Nine open-fronted, en-suite lodges each have their own patio and offer broad views of the lake directly from your bed. Every lodge also boasts twin beds that can be converted into king size doubles for the ultimate in luxury living.
Eight suites with en-suite bathrooms and private patios are also available and can accommodate 4 guests in king size double beds and on two Indian day beds.
All lodges and suites have ceiling fans, mosquito nets, mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. They cater to your every need so visitors can enjoy much needed down time in a luxurious and relaxing setting.
Here Cemcrete finishes add to the beautiful setting of the lodge. Floors have been finished in Cemcrete White Cement used to mix a standard screed. Walls have been professionally finished in Cemcrete White Cement used to mix a standard plaster.
A glorious setting with a wonderfully detailed and sophisticated design, Kariba is the perfect place for some rest and relaxation while embracing the African scenery all around.
