CUSTOM COLOUR DEVELOPMENT

Clients are invited to submit a swatch—ideally a Pantone reference—and Wolkberg’s team will develop a custom colour. Due to the nature of casting and pigment interaction, each shape and mould responds differently to the mix. As a result, while the outcome may not be an exact match, it will fall within a carefully curated range, imbued with Wolkberg’s signature material depth and variation.

This service is especially valuable for hospitality spaces, luxury retail environments, boutique hotels, and bold residential projects—anywhere that demands distinction and design impact. While exact replication can’t be guaranteed due to the nature of materials, the potential result is a one-of-a-kind colourway tailored to the client’s space and vision.

WHERE DESIGN LIVES

Based in Ruimsig, Johannesburg, Wolkberg’s factory is a hub for creativity and craftsmanship. It’s here that concepts come to life through an immersive process of ideation, design, and manufacturing. In Parkhurst, the new Wolkberg Showroom serves as an extension of this ethos. More than a display space, it’s a tactile design experience—allowing visitors to touch, test, and interact with Limesite™ products.

The showroom will also host events aimed at enriching the local design community, from CDP events for architects to product launches for interior designers. It will be home to Wolkberg’s podcast, In the Thick of Design, where conversations around industrial design, architecture, and interiors will inspire new ways of thinking and creating.
