Opia Design: Cement Tiles Now on Sale
When Opia Design first started in 2017, the idea was always to partner with internationally renowned companies – Popham Design and Ateliers Zelij – and to bring beautiful tiles to South Africa. For the first time in five years, the concrete tiles are now on sale! Don’t miss out!
“We chose these two companies as we shared their vision to reinterpret concrete tiles and improve the manufacturing processes. Over the years, our tiles became thinner, stronger and less permeable. The sand, commonly used as a cheaper aggregate, was replaced by marble powder creating a solid tile, magnifying the pigments.
On the other hand, we took great care in ensuring that our products contained no lead or harmful toxins. We made sure the concrete tiles are ideally suited, safe for both residential and commercial applications. In other words, we wanted a very high-quality product that wouldn’t sacrifice beauty and design.
Looking back, we remember having dreams of how those patterns would perfectly fit the local trends. We knew that the talented designers would take it to another level. The signature patterns combined with high-quality aggregates bring a distinctive and timeless statement to every installation that we’ve seen.
Five years later, we still feel impressed by the combination of colours and patterns that somehow feel natural and restful.”
For the first time in five years, the concrete tiles are on sale! With summer around the corner, grab the unique opportunity to bring a sophisticated touch to your interior or your stoep and enjoy them for years to come!
Sales will last until the end of stock so hurry up and don’t miss your chance and visit the website at www.opiadesign.co.za.
