A New Generation of Wolkberg Concrete for Interior Spaces
Industrial designed furniture, surfaces and lighting are very much on trend at the moment. And now, thanks to the use of Limesite by Wolkberg Casting Studios, a new generation concrete is here to stay, giving interior spaces a life of their own with superior finishes that are set to impress.
Wolkberg Casting Studios is a design company that focuses on innovative designs using their very own, new generation concrete called Limesite, set to exceed expectations on the use of concrete in interior spaces. Based in Ruimsig, Johannesburg, they are ready and geared to collaborate with industry professionals like interior designers, architects, shop fitters and the commercial sector. They are equally eager to deal with the homeowner that wants to make a statement by using designer concrete products in their personal spaces. Product design is their passion.
The Limelight, designed by Reando Potgieter , Industrial Designer and co-owner of Wolkberg Casting Studios was discovered by Visi Magazine at The Storr Room, 27 Boxes, and has received mention in the magazine’s March 2017 Design Issue. Claiming the no. 6 spot in their “31 reasons we’re loving great design” and being stated as the “guys to watch”. Decorex SA, 100% Design, 9-13 August 2017 at Gallagher Estate, will see the launch of Wolkberg’s ranges of Limesite surfaces, Silk and Dimensions as well as another amazing light fixture called The Sphere Light.
The Sphere Light is designed by Graeme Bramley, Industrial Designer and Co-owner of Wolkberg Casting Studios. Industrial Design is at the core of this business and they exploit their success to their impeccable mould making and manufacturing ability. Of course, the secret is in the concrete they call Limesite. Wolkberg can manufacture a number of varying products including and not limited to: • Surfaces • Furniture • Lighting • Wall cladding • Fittings and fixtures for interior designers and architects
Meet the people behind Wolkberg that specialise in the design and manufacture of products, using Limesite at Decorex Joburg this month.
