FinFloor: 5 Reasons to Use FinOak
FinOak engineered wooden flooring from Finfloor meets the demands of today’s challenging residential and commercial spaces. The benefit of engineered flooring namely its lower cost, ease of installation and wide selection of plank sizes, helps designers and homeowners create inviting interiors.
Here are 5 reasons why you should choose Finoak too:
- Environmentally friendly and more cost effective
FinOak is available in three species of thoughtfully harvested wood; Oak, Brazilian cherry and Walnut that are manufactured with a 2-5mm top face. As only a small slice of hardwood is used it is more cost effective than solid wood and yields a greater meterage of flooring than traditional solid timber from the same amount of protected forests.
- Ease of installation and Repair
Using a click system makes Finoak quick and easy to lay and fix together as compared to other flooring solutions. Customers willing to install flooring themselves can complete installation while damaged planks can easily be replaced if installed using a click system. The surface can be sanded and refinished up to 3 times.
- Variety of sizes and customisation
Natural wood flooring and cladding enhances the aesthetics of the interiors in which it is installed and offers a high degree of versatility. From the ultra-long, wide and thick planks to the versatile 1 210 x 192 x 10/2mm and herringbone planks, FinOak is available in planks to suit every project’s design requirements and budget. As a preferred Rubio Monocoat oiling partner, Finfloor can finish the planks in over 60 colours.
- Long warranty
All FinOak products come with a limited 25-year manufacturer’s warranty, which covers any manufacturing defects including chipping, peeling and warping.
- SAWLFA accreditation
All Finfloor products and service agreements are inline with the Southern Africa Wood, Laminate & Flooring Association’s (SAWLFA) expected standards. Finfloor offers service resolution through SAWLFA accreditation, participation and membership.
Finfloor has a proven track record with 23 years’ experience in the South African flooring industry.
