Belgotex Wins Bronze
Belgotex, Africa’s leading soft-flooring brand has been recognised at the 41st Loerie Awards.
Showcasing the best in creativity across Africa and the Middle East, the 41st Loerie Awards was held at the Durban International Convention Centre, 23 and 24 August, where it recognised and rewarded creative excellence in the brand communication industry.
Some 2 500 entries were received, with 646 brands represented by 281 agencies from 15 countries across Africa and the Middle East. Belgotex, Africa’s leading carpet and artificial grass manufacturer, picked up a bronze Loerie in the design identity category, confirming their status as a world-class, African brand.
As the highest accolade for creativity and innovation across our region, the Loerie Awards recognise how Belgotex has defined their purpose upon creativity, communication and collaboration by bringing the comfort and beauty of carpet to life.
The brand must be commended for considering all areas of the product showcase, from sampling material to print to social media, which has been embodied in a lifestyle context that elevates the floorscape as a whole.
Belgotex leadership believes that bigger than any award is how their new brand identity has paved the way for better communication within and outside the business – improving teamwork, uplifting the quality of communication with stakeholders and inspiring brand progress at a group level. By driving design with purpose, against all obstacles, this passion has transferred to the brand itself, fostering Belgotex’s connection with their people, product and planet.
